Dunham Funds Scholarship for 2007

Loren Dunham, a long time social studies teacher at Fairmont High School, recently funded a college scholarship through that Fairmont Dollars for Scholars chapter with a donation of $500. the scholarship, which will be awarded to a 2007 Fairmont High School graduate in May 2007, will be named "The Loren Dunham Class of 2007 Scholarship."

Dunham who joined the Dolalrs for Scholars board in September 2006, said, "I have always admired Fairmont's Dollars for Scholars program. It's so important to recognize and reward academic achievement, and to encourage kids to continue their education. I'm, pleased to join the Dollas for Scholars Board of Directors, and to contribute to this important work."

The Fairmont Dollars for Scholars chapter was established in 1974, and since that time has awarded over $1,200,00 in college scholarships to Fairmont High School graduates
