At their recent 60^th class reunion the Fairmont High School Class of 1946, committed to fund an annual $500 scholarship for a Fairmont High School graduate.  For a number of years the class has funded a scholarship for a technical/vocational bound student.  A decision was made to continue to fund a scholarship, but now it will be administered by the Fairmont Dollars for Scholars Chapter.   Scholarship priority will be for a senior who plans to pursue a technical/vocational type degree. The first award will be made at the chapter’s annual Awards Night in May 2007.
