Bob Sexe, retired Fairmont Public School administrator, recently funded an endowed scholarship with the Fairmont Dollars for Scholars chapter with a donation of $12,000. The Bob Sexe Scholarship will be awarded for the first time in May 2008. Priority for this scholarship is a female planning to pursue the field of accounting. In May 2007, the Fairmont chapter awarded 117 college schoalrships totaling $110,750.

Bob, who earned his college degrees at University of Minnesota, Mankato, was a teacher and principal at Lincoln and Budd Elementary Schools, Fairmont from 1958 to 1989. Bob's wife, Edna, deceased, worked as an accountant for Linton & Paulus, now Roessler, Nuss & Co, PA, Fairmont. Their daughter Kathy, a St. Cloud State University graduate, is currently a teacher in the Phoenix area. Bob spends his retirement years in Fairmont and Chandler (Sun Bird Golf Resort), Arizona.
