Scholarship winners and their parents are invited to attend the annual awards night held at the Fairmont High School in the middle of May.  Donors or individuals representing scholarships are also invited. When the scholarships are announced the donors/representatives come forward to award their scholarship to the recipient. At that time the student tells his/her major and college choice. This is when students first learn the name and amount of their scholarship and the donor learns the name of the scholarship winner.

Go to the Application/Who May Apply section to learn when the applications are available to  students and the whole application process.   The chapter uses Scholarship America’s  scoring system (240 potential scoring points) and a board/community members committee to  anonymously select scholarship winners.
